Principal Training has been delivering First Aid Courses for over a decade, we are quickly becoming one of the leading providers of first aid instructor courses since launching our own first aid trainer courses in 2009.

We believe first aid courses in the UK have room for improvement, long gone are the days where first aid training was delivered by the Doctor, Nurse or Paramedic. Research has shown first aiders only remember about 10% of their course after 6 months.

If you want to attend a course that not only gives you the knowledge and confidence to deal with first aid on the course but you will also remember your skills when the need arises. Our first aid courses include:

	HSE Approved First aid at work courses (FAW) The First aid at work course is ideal for high risk environments or organisations that may have few hazards but large numbers of employees. This 3 day first aid course can be delivered on your site or as one of our open first aid courses.
	HSE Approved Emergency First aid at work courses (EFAW) The Emergency First aid at work course is for low risk environments and high risk environments with fewer staff. The programme is also ideal for individuals who want to attend a one day first aid course. This course can be delivered at your premises or as one of our open Emergency first aid courses.
	Basic skills update (BSU) The Basic skills update was introduced in October 2009. This 3 hour first aid update is for any existing emergency first aiders and full first aiders. Research shows most first aiders forget 90% of their course within 6 months of qualifying, the basic skills update is perfect for helping learners retain their knowledge for longer.
	Ofsted recognised Paediatric first aid courses (PFA) The Paediatric first aid course is ideal for child minders and other child care practitioners who require a paediatric first aid certificate to register with OFSTED. Principal Training deliver the 2 day OFSTED recognised course on an in-house basis. We also support local authorities in their course delivery.
	One in a Million baby first aid courses (Baby) The One in a Million Campaign is the campaign to help parents to learn child first aid. Principal Training was the first, first aid training provider in London to Join the Campaign. We regularly deliver baby first aid courses to parents and small groups, all in the comfort of their own setting.
	AED operator training courses. (AED) AEDs or defibrillators are becoming more and more common. To learn the use of an AED is simple and straightforward. Principal Training can deliver the AED course as a standalone programme. We can also add it to our Emergency first aid course and our First aid at work course. As a part of our corporate social responsibility, Principal Training provide free AED trainer course to those attending our First aid instructor course.
	Basic life support courses (BLS) The Basic life support course from Principal Training is ideal for anyone wanting to learn CPR. The course is delivered over a period of about 2 hours, and is great for any healthcare professionals needed to update their basic life support certificate.
	First aid instructor courses (FAWI) Principal Training has been delivering the first aid instructor course since 2009. Our lead trainer; Rob Shaloe has been teaching the First aid trainer training programme for over a decade.
